Class Descriptions
All classes are instructed based on the physical condition and experience level of the students in the class.
Vinyasa Flow Yoga:
Join on your own or with a friend! Vinyasa Flow Yoga is both relaxing and revitalising. It will strengthen and tone your entire body with the flowing practice of poses (asanas), breathing exercises (pranayama), and meditation (dhyana). Each class will start and end with breathing and relaxation, include the practice of sun salutations that warm and energize the body and the practice of a variety of stretching and strengthening poses that will ensure a total body and mind workout. These classes have a warm, fun and relaxing atmosphere. Beginners are more than welcome.
Yoga for Athletes:
Yoga for runners, cyclists, hockey players, and anyone in relatively good physical condition. These classes will challenge you physically and mentally assisting any athlete or active individual in improving focus, breath control, personal performance, preventing injuries,improving muscle imbalances, and increasing strength and flexibility while at the same time toning the entire body.
Spin Classes
A cycling class with stationary spin bikes that create a great cardio and fat burning workout. The upbeat music and instructor will pump you up in a spin class that will take you on a journey of hills, speedwork and rhythmic cycling leaving you feeling refreshed and revitalized.
Combo Classes
A total body and soul workout that starts with a half an hour of cardio blasting spin class, and ends with a half an hour of yoga to leave you feeling vibrant and alive.
Body Blast Class
A combination of cycling followed by a totaly body weight training session. This class is sure boost your metabolism, burn fat and tone your body. Be prepared to sweat and have fun.
20/20/20- 50+Fitness
This class is being designated as 50+ fitness, although anyone can come. It is a combination of 20 minutes of cycling, 20 minutes of weight training, and 20 minutes of stretching/yoga. A great way to get all your fitness needs met in one-hour. This class will increase stamina, strength and flexibility.
Mom & Baby Yoga:
For Mom’s and Baby’s 1 month to 12 months old. These classes are a great way for mom’s to bond with her baby while at the same time getting a nice yoga workout and visiting with other mom’s and baby’s.
